From the People. For the People.
No party machine. No corporate donors. Just Abdallah J. Alkodah, an EMT, first responder, and neighbor running as an independent for State Representative in Illinois' 13th District.
Politics forgot the people it was built to serve. We're here to remember.
Abdallah J. Alkodah is an unapologetically Arab-American Muslim, an EMT and first responder, and an independent candidate for State Representative in Illinois' 13th District. He's running with no party backup system because he's not a sellout. He is from the people, for the people, and proudly supported by hardworking residents across the district.
Now the establishment is trying to challenge his petition signatures and keep him off the ballot. This campaign is the fight to let voters decide who represents them, not party machines.
A neighbor,
not a politician.
As an EMT and first responder, Abdallah has spent his career answering when people need help most, riding ambulances through every neighborhood in the district, in every kind of weather, for every kind of family. That work taught him a simple truth: people don't care about your party. They care whether you show up.
He's not a career politician, and he isn't pretending to be. He's running because he's tired of watching working families get talked past while the people who claim to represent them answer to donors three states away.

The establishment is challenging Abdallah's petition signatures to keep him off the ballot. Every dollar defends his place on that ballot, reaches voters, and builds a real independent movement funded by people, not PACs. Let the people of the 13th District decide.
Contributions to Abdallah for Illinois are not tax-deductible for federal or state income tax purposes. Individuals may contribute up to $7,300 per election. Donations are processed securely by Anedot. Paid for by Abdallah for Illinois.
